ABMC worked closely with the Association ciation of Onion Producers <Mirasi> (AOP) from Korce, and successfully appplied for a grant from the ASP/Wo Bank grant program. The grant u: needed for the construction of an u: ion storage and marketing point with appropriate conditions to protect production from weather changes, at to prolong the storage period during marketing. The AOP, one of the ma suppliers of onion products in Albania, was having problems protecting their production from sudden changes in This grant gave them the opportunity to better preserve and market their production. A member of the association adds. "Thanks to ABMC the farmers in the region have a bridge to connect us with foreign donors operating at the national level."
